Deaf Film Project

The Deaf Film Project aims to:
1) Organise film nights, with subtitles and a sign language interpreter. This seeks to raise awareness of the need for subtitles at the cinema and in all forms of local media.
2) Exchange short films with various Deaf Film Festivals across the world and introduce screenings of such films in Malta. It is hoped that members of the Deaf Community will be able to visit these festivals, but also invite some other people from abroad to come and visit Malta for these screenings.
3) Create workshops where we can try and create short films. Deaf members will be directly involved in making the films both as actors and members of the crew.
